First Personal Website

My first attempt at a personal website! Click here to visit the page.

This was my first attempt at a personal website. I began working on an Angular application at my internship and got inspired to create my first website. I taught myself the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create a React application. I initially followed a Udemy course on basic web development and tried to apply what I learned on my own.

Project Management Website

My final web development project at Michigan State University. Visit the GitHub repository or the website!

For my final project for my CSE 477 - Web Development course at Michigan State University, we were tasked with recreating popular project management websites such as Trello, Jira, and other KanBan boards. The website is developed with a Flask backend written in Python, AJAX for API calls, socket.io for live updates, and raw HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Outside of web development, I have worked on some exciting programming projects.

NBA Stat Combiner

I wrote a Python program that brings together NBA player statistics and allows a user to search for a specific player. The data comes from a public NBA API which is linked within the code. Once a player's statistics are brought together, thresholds are then asked for, defining the lower limit for the specified statistic. The program calculates the respective odds and the averages and outputs it into a comma-separated file. Click here to view the GitHub repository.

Smart Mirror

Over the summer of 2022, I challenged myself to create some piece of hardware that utilizes my own software. I deconstructed an old monitor and coated it in mirror film. Then, using a Raspberry PI and the C programming language, I programmed some custom modules using a public library to show me the current weather, time, and current PGA standings. The Raspberry PI had to be configured and mounted to the back of the monitor to allow proper processing power.

Digital Banking Application

During the fall 2023 semester, I was enrolled in my university's senior computer science capstone course. I worked closely with MSU Federal Credit Union to develop a proof of concept digital banking application. This application was created in Android Studio using Java, PHP, and Kotlin. The application was created for use within a vehicle, so one-touch and voice commands were implemented. Click here to view the MSU capstone archives to read more about the project.

Working Out

I try to stay as active as I can. I find my self golfing throughout the warm months and snowboarding throughout the cold months. I have ran multiple tough mudders and enjoy spending time outdoors and with friends.
